How does Anoro Ellipta help you breathe better?

The medicines in Anoro Ellipta work together to help open the airways and make it easier for air to get in and out of the lungs.1 This helps control the breathing difficulties and breathlessness caused by COPD and minimises the effects of the disease on your everyday life.2 Anoro Ellipta should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems and won't replace a rescue inhaler, such as Ventolin®.1

What are the medicines in Anoro Ellipta and how do they work?

Anoro is made up of two new molecules, umeclidinium, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) and vilanterol, a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA).1 These two work together to help open the airways and make it easier for air to get in and out of the lungs, which helps to relieve the symptoms of COPD.1,2
